less one day...yeah yesterday it was 4 months to Christmas!!! Can you believe it? I love Christmas! And I count down the days and drive most people crazy by doing so :)
The paper on the weekend said that some stores already have Christmas merchandise up in their stores? Now that's to early. The word Christmas is Old English, a contraction of Christ's Mass.
Did you know that the first Christmas cards were vintage and invented in 1843, the Victorian Era? (You can read more about the history of Christmas Cards here.) My card today is a bit Vintage looking, in fact the New Holiday Mini from Stampin' Up! focuses this year on the Vintage look! Pretty appropriate don't you think? It uses some of the new products from the New Holiday Mini - chunky glass glitter, Deck the Halls DSP, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon, Deck the Halls Designer Buttons, and of course a level two Hostess stamp set 'Peaceful Season'. Enjoy the card and enjoy your 'Holiday shopping'...I've already started mine! Lynda
OOh, I see you have been playing with new toys!!!

Hold off on Christmas... well maybe not. The card is gorgeous and one can't help planning Christmas cards, tags and other decorations with the Holiday mini!

I was wondering what adhesive you used for the glitter? It's awesome! I so want that stamp set!

Hi Anna
I used Stampin' Up's! Tombow glue. I ran it along the edges and then spinkled the glitter over it and then shuck off the excess glitter. Thanks for checking in Anna! Lynda
