Stampin' Up Convention last day :(

Sitting in class writing my post for the last day of Stampin' Up Convention. 

We had a free night last night so dinner out at Toucans and some shopping were on the list. I tried to post from my laptop when we returned so I could post the pictures from my camera but I ran into problems so I will post those pictures when I get home. So I will continue to post from my BlackBerry PlayBook.

Stampin' Up! Convention Projects with Fabric

So I it's coming down to the wire...only 3 days and I am almost there! Glad I took yesterday off work! I accomplished a lot - my swaps (thanks to my twins help) are almost done - will finish them tomorrow - busy day today but my Convention projects or my Special Gifts are now finally done! All 21 of them!

I got this idea from Kim Gavarra a demonstrator from Australia! We have a fantastic site as demonstrators where we can share cards, projects and ideas and this is where I cased her idea totally!

They are bag identifiers or key chains - you see at Convention, all 3500 of us will have the same Convention bag so this will help us identify who's bag is whose...

• Chipboard (I used the all my backing pieces from the DSP packaging)
• Stampin' Up's beautiful fabric
• Multipurpose Adhesive sheets - a must for the fabric to adhere to the chipboard!
• Chipboard lettering sets
• various Stampin' Up! ribbon
• Tombow glue to adhere the chipboard letters
• jewels

Off to have my nails, toes done today (for convention of course) than a football game which of course involves tailgating - it's a beautiful day again today! So that's my whole day gone! LOL!

My Digital Studio Journals

I know I said I'd post a Reason to Smile card but my Journals arrived yesterday and I'm stinkin' excited to show you...

So I made these Journals for my downline attending convention - wanted to do something special as it's her first time! I also made myself one and a few others (that are a surprise).

I used My Digital Studio to make my journals and of course had them send through them to have them printed professionally. I am so thrilled with the results!

Here I changed the front cover and added their names and printed it at home for our Information Binders (flight, Hotel info, class schedule, geneal agenda etc).

Recipe:

• Basic Grey Distressed DSP
• Crumb cake background colour
• Very Vanilla Stitching

• Torn Edges (my fav)
• Textured
• Notes
• Enjoy Every Moment

Don't think I missed anything...anyhow I had a blast making them! I cut and paste the Stampin' Up! logo and saved it as a jpeg photo.
