Stampin' Up DSP Christmas Card

Want an idea with what to do with your Designer Paper scraps? Here is a great card idea! This idea was posted in our Demonstrator Stampin' Success monthly magazine that we luckily receive! It comes to Stampin' Up! demonstrators every month and it's filled with awesome card ideas, techniques, stories, etc. It's of course one of the many perks to being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!

Each strip is 1 inch wide and cut at varying length. so save those strips when you are cutting your Christmas DSP.

The greeting stamp set is one of my new favs, Sassy Saluatations (Pg 143) and I love the font of this set.

Delightful Decoration Ornament Card goes extra glittery

Quick post as I'm very tired tonight. This is another card we made at my Christmas Card Club last night using the Delightful Decorations Stamp Set (Pg 10). The colours are real red and basic black.

I spritzed glitter on it using the Frost White Shimmer Paint (Pg 158) mixed with Rubbing Alcohol in a Spritzer bottle (Pg 179) -just a few drops of Shimmer paint and 3/4 filled with the alcohol - love the look the spritzed shimmer paint gives it!

Stampin' Up! Scentsational Season with scents!

Can I tell you how much I LOVE Stampin' Up's Sugar and Spice scented embossing powder? OMG! We are using it tomorrow night in my Christmas Card Class and it will smell wonderful in my Card area!! I won't need candles to make it smell good at all...nope it will smell wonderful all on it's own!

I used the Be of Good Cheer DSP and the Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Ribbon (FREE this month with a $50 order - have I repeated this enough yet?)

Plus the Scentsational Season stamp set stamp in Cherry Cobbler and Chocolate Chip ink with the amazing Sugar and Spice embossing powder heated over it...oh I can still smell it now! Love it!

The embossing folder is the Pretty Petals - boy I miss the snowflake folder - hmm It would have looked good here too!

Stampin' Up!' Wedding Card

A great formal yet simple wedding card for the Newlyweds!

Papillon Potpourri

Love the simplicity of this card set displayed at the Stampin' Up! Home Office. I showed the Heartfelt set in an earlier post (search if interested) but today I will show how easy using Black ink or the Stazon and the Papillon Potpourri and the En Francais background stamp set together make an elegant card, along with a bit of spritzer :)

Stampin' Up Embossing Folders...

What did we ever do without them? I mean how often do you make a card and NOT use an Embossing folder? Pretty rare right?

This card is from Convention 2012 and it uses both the Floral Garden and the Framed Tulips folder. I also love that it yellow and grey - two hot in colours!

Love the simplicity and colours of this card - probably why I took a pic of it.

We had a busy football day. Kendall had a flag football game this morning and we went to the McMaster University game this afternoon. Watching US College football now - yes our family LOVES football ;)

Be of Good Cheer Card

I love this Designer Paper, Be of Good Cheer! I realy like this card too! It's a card from the Convention display boards so I can't give credit, sorry, but I love how they cut the Labels framelits in half when using the Be of Good Cheer DSP. They have also used the Scensations Framelits and of course the 3/8 Stitched Ribbon that is free this month if you place a $50 order!

Stampin' Up! Chevron Briefcase

This is a 3D Briefcase box I made for my Ronald McDonald Fundraiser on Oct 6th. Everyone who attends will make this and take their 8 cards home in their coordinating Briefcase.

I used the Chevron Embossing folder and the Edgelits for the top flap piece, some Raspberry Ripple 3/8 Stitched Ribbon and metal Hardware for the buckles. The Card stock is pacific point which coordinates nicely with the Raspberry Ripple ribbon.

The box measurements are: 8 3/8 x 10 1/2

score on the short side: 1 3/8 from each side

score on the long sides: 4 3/8 from each side

flap is 4 7/8 x 5 5/8 scored at 1, 1 7/8 and cut along the front edge

Stampin' Up!'s Moving Forward

A quick post so I can head to bed...went back to work today and I'm exhausted, plus I worked on this card tonight and a 3D project which I will post tomorrow for my Ronald McDonald fundraiser October 6th.

This card is from the Moving Forward stamp set - the set dedicated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities - where $3 from every set sold will go towards the RMHC.

All I used was the flower stamp from the Moving Forward stamp set and Daffodil Delight, Primrose Petals, Raspberry card stock and ink.

The design on the side is the postage punch...

Fabulous Florets...Missing In Action...

Hi All

Sorry for my absence...I have been ill. It looks like my daily migraines are being caused from a reaction to a new medication...ugh... However, as an interim solution I am taking T3s each night to help with the pain but as a bonus it is also helping me sleep better...

I haven't stamped all week, I am getting far behind and that it starting to stress me out...hope this nightmare ends soon!!!

So again here is a card from Convention that I really liked, I think this was at the Home Office on display (hopefully I will have one of my own creations soon)...using the stamp set Fabulous Florets and one of the new In Colours, Primrose Petals, love it!!
