Well my Husband is home from his golf trip...no more bed to myself, slacking off on dinners ;), all nighters in my stamp room...basically the fun is over...LOL!

He had a good trip and I had a nice break at home too...good for the both of us...

So hear is another card I cased from the demonstrators website...I used Sahara Sand and Basic Black together...colours I've never used before together and I'm really pleased with the combination...

Had my Christmas Card Stamp and Stack last night! Thanks ladies for joining me! It was so great to see you out, some of you I haven't seen in a while! It was so fun!! Lots of caching up to do...

Here is a card we made last night, an idea I go from our recent Hamilton Regional using the window sheets and the Snowflake Soiree stamp set...

I used the Whits Stazon on the window sheets and on the Marina MIst cardstock I spritzed a bit of the white shimmer paint...it was a hit last night.

Here's a great cute, Halloween treat idea! My dowline and good friend Clorice made these licorice witches brooms for her kids at school. She used our 1" x 3" cello bags to wrap the licorice and then wrapped Designer Series Paper around the bottom to make the broom part, after cutting several lines. How cleaver and simple! The kids will love these I'm sure!

Stampin' Up Designer Paper Necklaces

Can you guess what I made these necklaces from? Metal washers! Yep, seriously! When I asked my dad if he had any washers I could have, he handed me this BIG bucket...I laughed and told him I only wanted a handful...when I told him I was making necklaces from them, he was a little skeptical...so what do you think? Cool?

I covered both sides of the washer with Stampin' Up! Designer Paper (using the punches to get a clean circle) and applied the paper with Stampin' Up! Crystal Effects - that's what makes it so glossy and shinny and gives it a hard finish too! I then added some extra embellishments to them also...I will be putting these in my Craft Fair next weekend...hope they like them!

Stampin' Up Evergreen

Here's one of my favourite cards from the October 26th Stamp and Stack - still 4 spots remaining if you want to register, email me at lynda@lyndascards.com

The card uses the Stamp Set Evergreen (Pg 18 HM) - stamped in Stazon then the tree is in clear embossing powder on top. The NEW Champagne Glimmer paper is in the background, along with Cherry Cobbler card stock with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder on Early Espresso card stock.

Off to work in my craft room today, lots to do!
