Flower Garden with Pastels!

I was skimming through our Demonstrator's Stampin' Showcase the other day for some different ideas to use the NEW Flower Garden Embossing folder and I came across this nice idea to use the Stampin' Pastels on the raised embossed parts of the image. You just lightly rub the pastel colour with a sponge dauber over the raised embossed part to hi-light the area in the chosen colour. So easy!! And so pretty and effective!! I used some different colour combos too, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, Old Olive and Very Vanilla, but I liked the brightness and simplicity in the end! Fun Birthday Card

Here is a great Birthday card my son, Skyler received for his 10th Birthday last month from a good friend of mine, Virginia H. It is using the 'Just Basketball' stamp set ($18.95 Pg 79). Virginia tells me she uses this stamp set all the time and would recommend it to make Boy's Birthday cards. Great card Virginia!

 

I also had my Glassy Glaze tile class on Friday evening and it was a great class with a great bunch of ladies. We had a wonderful fun time making beautiful coasters! Here is a quick photo of some of the ladies from my class. PS. The tiles look awesome ladies! Great job! 

My next regular Tile class is Friday April 23 at 6:30pm.
